When I was little I would tell people I wanted to be an author. I wanted to tell stories that captivated and entertained people. I created fact files on the characters I wanted to write about, full of details about what made them unique and included all their likes and dislikes. The career as an author never happened but through my love of photography I found a way to tell people’s stories.

My story.
I am Yorkshire born and bred (although there were 11 years living in London and Qatar) but I am back in my home county and I am lucky enough to live in the historic City of York with my family.
As a child I first discovered my love for photography with an old Kodak film camera. But, being left handed I never got the hand of controlling the settings and developed more pictures of my nose than anything else. My passion for photography has continued to grow and after having my second child I knew I wanted to capture all the ordinary moments I wouldn’t get to experience again.
Photography aside you will find me in my favourite coffee shop with a brew eating brownies, walking in the Dales or paddling at the coast.
